Everything is on the body as far as mounting holes, you just need the windows, hinges, latchs and welting for the pinch weld. These are difficult to find used and are very expensive. ![]() On the low window cars, the latch mounted on the pop out frame. ![]() Once you've found the center spot, drilled and attach your window,Īttach your latch to the frame at the rear with the window shut and the latch in the closed position, make sure that the glass is in its proper place evenly and snug and the latch should fall into the position where it should be attached. On that 67, the glass also has the hole in it for the rear latch. The bar is threaded to hold the screws in place. ![]() Correction all 5 holes have to be drilled, and they need to be the same diameter as your screw. (_<- bar with five holes here.īefore you slide the bar into place use a permanent marker to mark where to drill your holes. The hinge should line up, and come together like this. Once you have it in place either tape it down or have some one hold it from the outside because it can and may fall out (happened to me). Double check from the outside to make sure that it is not pushed in unevenly. If the outer seal is installed it will automatically line up to its location because the seal will fit very snug. Since your car is not pre-drilled, I'm guessing the easiest way to find the location for the hinge holes would be to attach the hinge to the frame and place in its location temporarily.
